NFL Teams Begin Waiver Claims Following Roster Cuts
Following the NFL's roster cut deadline, all 32 teams have finalized their rosters, each trimming down to 53 players. With numerous veterans, recent draft picks, and undrafted free agents available, teams are now in a position to submit waiver claims.
Teams have until 1 p.m. ET on August 31 to file these claims, with their position in the waiver order determining their priority. The initial waiver order aligns with the 2026 NFL Draft order, giving the Las Vegas Raiders the top priority. The New York Jets, Arizona Cardinals, Tennessee Titans, and New York Giants follow in the top five.
A list of players available for claims includes Taylor Rapp, Sean Murphy-Bunting, Elandon Roberts, Evan Neal, Cedric Tillman, Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Emmanuel Ogbah, Trey Benson, Jaydon Blue, and Jake Browning.
