NFL Update: Josh Downs Requests Trade Amid Colts' Changes

On Wednesday, the NFL saw significant developments as Colts wide receiver Josh Downs requested a trade, coinciding with the team's recent trades of Quenton Nelson and DeForest Buckner. This request comes as the Colts struggle with a 2-5 record, having lost three consecutive games.

Downs, who leads the Colts with 26 receptions for 307 yards, has not scored this season. Multiple teams have reportedly expressed interest in him ahead of the trade deadline on November 10. Meanwhile, Colts general manager Chris Ballard was fired following the team's latest loss, and coach Shane Steichen addressed questions about his job security.

In other news, Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson returned to practice fully as he recovers from an ankle injury, while Bengals receiver Ja'Marr Chase missed practice due to an ankle issue. The Rams continue to await the return of defensive end Myles Garrett, who remains on injured reserve.
