NHL Reveals Design for 2026 Heritage Classic in Winnipeg
The NHL has unveiled a design for the 2026 Heritage Classic, set to take place at Princess Auto Stadium in Winnipeg. This outdoor game will feature the Winnipeg Jets facing off against the Montreal Canadiens.
The NHL's concept transforms the stadium into a large Canadian cabin retreat, with the rink as the focal point of the Heritage Classic experience. The design includes oversized rustic timber logs that mimic a massive cabin wall, surrounded by hockey-themed decorations celebrating the rivalry between the two teams.
Additional features of the event include a large fireplace at the front of the field and four stages for musical performances during the game. This event marks the second outdoor game hosted by the Jets at Princess Auto Stadium.
