Wright estimates a 45% chance that Williams will be the top quarterback from this draft class, placing him ahead of Jayden Daniels and Drake Maye, who have both achieved significant playoff success. Maye is projected at 40%, while Daniels and Bo Nix are at 13% and 2%, respectively.

Wright noted that Williams possesses a physical advantage, particularly when moving outside the pocket, and highlighted his running ability as a distinguishing factor compared to Maye, despite Maye's higher rushing yard total last season.
