Nigel McGuinness Injury Update Following AEW's All In 2026
Nigel McGuinness, a wrestler for AEW, dealt with a real injury during the Continental Challenge Cup tournament, which affected his performance against Jon Moxley in the finals. Despite the injury, McGuinness advanced to the finals but ultimately lost the match.
The injury reportedly occurred when McGuinness blocked a kick from Shibata, leading to visible concerns during the match. Initially perceived as part of the storyline, it was later confirmed that the injury was legitimate.
This injury also led to McGuinness being removed from the Ring of Honor Death Before Dishonor card, where he was set to compete for the ROH Pure Championship against Lee Moriarty. AEW made the decision to withdraw him from that match to allow for recovery time ahead of the C3 matches.
