Nikki Cross Reflects on Iconic WWE 24/7 Title Toss

Nikki Cross, known as Nikki Storm in the wrestling world, recently recounted her experience of throwing the WWE 24/7 Championship into a trash can during a live segment in 2022. This moment marked the final appearance of the title on WWE programming.

Cross explained that she had successfully tossed the title into the trash can during a rehearsal, but due to an audio issue, the live take was used instead. In the live segment, she missed the trash can but continued with her performance, adhering to the principle of maintaining character.

The 24/7 Championship was introduced by Mick Foley on May 20, 2019, allowing any wrestler to challenge for it at any time. Cross was a notable 11-time champion, and the title was officially retired following her on-screen dismissal of it on November 9, 2022.
