Nikola Tsolov Completes First F1 Test at Imola
Nikola Tsolov, the leader of the F2 championship, undertook his first Formula 1 test today at the Autodromo Internazionale Enzo e Dino Ferrari in Imola.
The Bulgarian driver participated in a Testing of Previous Cars (TPC) programme, covering a distance of 428 miles (690 km), which is a key step in his development within the Red Bull Junior Programme.
Tsolov, who joined the Alpine Academy earlier in 2023 but later switched to the Red Bull Junior Team for 2025, expressed his excitement about the test, highlighting the significance of this opportunity in his racing journey. Team boss Alan Permane noted Tsolov's quick adaptation to the car and emphasized the importance of such tests in the development of junior drivers.
