No Refund Theater to Present 'Medea' This Week

No Refund Theater (NRT) is preparing for its third performance of the semester with the play 'Medea,' directed by Maria Jose Posada. The first show is scheduled for October 29 at 8 p.m. in the Flex Theater at the Hub Robeson Center, with additional performances on October 30 and 31 at the same time.

'Medea,' a dark play by Euripides, unfolds in ancient Corinth, where the titular character learns of her husband Jason's impending marriage to a Corinthian princess. The narrative follows Medea, a foreign princess and sorceress, who previously committed patricide to assist Jason in his quest for the Golden Fleece.

This production is described as a thrilling and violent experience that may not be suitable for all audiences due to its intense themes.
