Noah Caluori Played with Torn Ligament During Breakthrough Season
Noah Caluori, a 19-year-old wing player, disclosed that he competed through a torn wrist ligament during his standout season with Saracens and the England national team.
The injury occurred in December when he fell awkwardly while attempting to catch a high ball in a match against Exeter. Despite the pain, Caluori chose to continue playing, waiting until summer for surgery to repair the ligament.
Throughout the season, he managed to score 18 tries in 13 Premiership games and made his England debut against Fiji. Although Saracens did not qualify for the Premiership play-offs, Caluori achieved his personal goals and is focused on maintaining his career momentum as he recovers from surgery.
