North Melbourne Announces Departure of Four Players
North Melbourne has announced that Bailey Scott, Callum Coleman-Jones, Robert Hansen jnr, and Brayden George will not be offered contracts for the upcoming 2027 season.
Scott, who was drafted in 2018 with Pick 49, played 116 games over eight seasons, primarily in wing and half-back positions. Coleman-Jones joined the Kangaroos from Richmond after the 2022 season, participating in 28 matches after being selected with Pick 20 in 2017.
Hansen jnr was acquired through the 2023 AFL Mid-Season Rookie Draft and played 20 senior matches, scoring seven goals, though he did not compete this season. George, drafted with Pick 26 in 2022, faced multiple injuries that prevented him from making a senior appearance, spending most of the year in the VFL.
Todd Viney, the general manager of football for the Kangaroos, expressed gratitude to the departing players for their dedication to the club and wished them success in their future endeavors.
