North Melbourne Revises Trade Offer for Nick Blakey
North Melbourne has enhanced its trade proposal for Sydney's Nick Blakey, now offering Pick 6 along with a future first-round selection.
The initial offer, which included Pick 6 and additional later selections, was promptly rejected by the Swans. After a weekend of stalled negotiations, North Melbourne presented the revised offer late on Monday, as reported by AFL Media.
The trade period is set to conclude at 7:30pm (AEDT) on Wednesday, leaving both clubs with two days to finalize a deal. Ongoing discussions have not yet resulted in a rejection of the new offer. Meanwhile, North Melbourne's list manager, Brady Rawlings, aims to secure the Blakey deal quickly, as the club is also interested in acquiring contracted Adelaide defender Nick Murray, despite Adelaide's firm stance on requiring a substantial trade for him.
