Nottingham Forest Pursues Chelsea Striker Liam Delap
Nottingham Forest is in discussions to sign Chelsea striker Liam Delap, who has been listed for sale at £50 million.
The 23-year-old is currently training apart from Chelsea's first-team squad and was not included in the lineup for the recent Premier League match against Fulham. It is uncertain whether the negotiations are for a permanent transfer or a loan arrangement, although both clubs maintain a positive relationship.
Delap joined Chelsea from Ipswich Town for £30 million last year but struggled with injuries, scoring only one league goal last season. Nottingham Forest has already made several signings this summer, including defender Ousmane Diomande for £34 million, while also selling midfielder Elliot Anderson for a club-record £116 million.
