The announcement follows two weeks of confrontations between the two wrestlers. During a recent episode of WWE Raw, Paul Heyman confirmed the match after a face-to-face encounter between Breakker and Femi.

Breakker expressed his desire to confront Femi directly in the ring, but Heyman intervened, emphasizing the significance of the match and stating it was too important for a brawl to occur on Raw. This match will be the second confirmed for the event, alongside a bout featuring Cody Rhodes against Randy Orton.
