OG Anunoby Collaborates with London Mayor to Enhance Basketball Courts

OG Anunoby, a forward for the New York Knicks and a recent NBA champion, has returned to his birthplace in London to support a community initiative.

In collaboration with London Mayor Sadiq Khan and the NBPA, Anunoby is working to refurbish and create public basketball courts, providing local youth with improved facilities to pursue their basketball aspirations. The Argyle Square basketball court in Camden will be the first site of this pilot project, part of a larger investment announced by the Mayor.

The initiative is backed by a nearly £2 million investment aimed at enhancing basketball infrastructure in London, which was revealed in January 2026. Anunoby's achievements in the NBA have made him a role model for aspiring British basketball players.
