Oilers Welcome Back Dickinson and Ekholm Against Flames
The Edmonton Oilers are preparing to welcome back centre Jason Dickinson and defenceman Mattias Ekholm for their upcoming game against the Calgary Flames, following the news that Zach Hyman has been placed on injured reserve.
Jason Dickinson has faced injury challenges this season, having missed time on two occasions. He has been out since October 15 due to an undisclosed injury sustained during practice and previously missed the first three games of the season due to a foot injury. In the three games he has played, he has recorded one assist while averaging 12:12 of ice time. He was activated from the injured reserve on Wednesday.
Mattias Ekholm, who has one goal and two assists in ten games this season, missed the last two games due to a concussion he sustained during a victory over the Carolina Hurricanes. He is anticipated to take the place of Jake Walman, who will be a healthy scratch for the game.
