Oliver Bearman Gains Confidence from Rivals' F1 Success
Oliver Bearman, a driver for Haas, has stated that the achievements of his former junior rivals Kimi Antonelli and Isack Hadjar in Formula 1 boost his confidence regarding his own racing future.
Bearman noted that while Haas started the season strong, they have since struggled in the mid-season development race, currently placing him 13th in the drivers' championship with 18 points. His teammate, Esteban Ocon, is in 17th place with three points, contributing to Haas's seventh position in the constructors' standings with 21 points.
In contrast, Antonelli leads the drivers' standings with 219 points, while Hadjar is eighth with 68 points. Bearman remarked that observing their success reassures him that with the right car, he can also compete at the front. He emphasized that his past experiences racing against Antonelli and Hadjar give him confidence that he can achieve similar success when provided with a competitive vehicle.
