Oliver Solberg Expands Lead in Rally Chile Ahead of Final Stages

Oliver Solberg strengthened his position in Rally Chile on Saturday, extending his lead to 19.1 seconds over Elfyn Evans as they head into the final stages of the competition.

After a competitive morning loop, Solberg held a 10.1-second advantage over Evans. Despite Evans narrowing the gap to 9.8 seconds during stage 10, Solberg responded by winning the subsequent stages, including stage 12, where he finished 3.7 seconds ahead of Evans.

Evans focused on maintaining his second place, facing pressure from Sebastien Ogier, who was in third. Ogier's strong performance in stage 11 brought him close to Evans, but the latter managed to secure his position by winning the last stage of the day. Other competitors faced challenges, with some experiencing tire issues and retirements due to accidents.
