Oliver Solberg Ready for Rally Paraguay After Injury Recovery
Oliver Solberg has announced his readiness for Rally Paraguay following a back injury he sustained during Rally Finland. The Toyota driver, who finished second in Finland, experienced significant pain after a heavy landing and required assistance to exit his car.
After the rally, Solberg underwent physiotherapy to aid his recovery and is now pain-free, although he is using a support strap as a precaution. He previously achieved success in Paraguay, winning the WRC2 title during the event's inaugural year.
This year's rally presents new challenges, including fast roads and changing weather conditions, with rain expected to complicate the gravel surface. Solberg noted the importance of managing tire sensitivity and the need for luck in navigating the rocky terrain.
