Oliver Solberg Wins Rally Chile, Boosting Title Hopes as Toyota Secures Manufacturers' Championship

Oliver Solberg secured his second victory of the 2026 World Rally Championship at Rally Chile, contributing to Toyota's achievement of a record-equalling 10th manufacturers' title.

Solberg, alongside co-driver Elliott Edmondson, led through 15 of the 16 stages, finishing 16.6 seconds ahead of Sebastien Ogier, who moved up after Elfyn Evans suffered a puncture. Adrien Fourmaux from Hyundai completed the podium, while Evans finished fifth.

Solberg's win positions him 21 points behind championship leader Evans with two rounds remaining. The rally featured intense competition, with Solberg maintaining a lead despite challenges, including a puncture late in the race. Other notable performances included Esapekka Lappi finishing sixth and Thierry Neuville retiring after a roll.
