Ollie Hollands Signs New Deal with Carlton Until 2029
Ollie Hollands has committed to Carlton by signing a new contract that will keep him at Ikon Park until the end of 2029, despite interest from North Melbourne.
Alongside Hollands, veterans Nic Newman and Nick Haynes have also signed one-year extensions. Hollands had recently met with North Melbourne as they sought to acquire him, but he ultimately decided to remain with the Blues after demonstrating his value in the senior team.
General Manager of Football Chris Davies praised Hollands for his work ethic and potential for growth. Hollands had a challenging season with only 14 AFL matches played, but his strong performances in the reserves led to his recall for the final round and subsequent finals. The new contracts for Newman and Haynes ensure continued defensive strength for Carlton as they look to the future.
