Orlando Magic's Jalen Suggs Diagnosed with Mild Knee Injury
The Orlando Magic faced a potential setback when point guard Jalen Suggs sustained a knee injury during a game on Sunday. Just days after losing star player Paolo Banchero for four to six weeks, the team feared Suggs might also be out for an extended period.
On Monday, the diagnosis revealed that Suggs has a mild bone bruise in his right knee, allowing him to avoid major structural damage. He is expected to be sidelined for at least two weeks before a re-evaluation.
With both Banchero and Suggs unavailable, the Magic will rely on Franz Wagner to take on a larger role in the offense, especially after his strong performance against the New York Knicks. Additionally, shooting guard Desmond Bane will need to increase his scoring output to help the team navigate this challenging period.
