Ospreys Return to St Helen's Stadium Amid Ongoing Construction
The Ospreys are making their return to St Helen's Stadium this weekend after a two-decade absence, facing the Dragons in their first United Rugby Championship match at the venue. The match is scheduled to kick off at 19:00 BST.
Despite the ongoing construction, which has seen significant changes in recent weeks, the stadium is still a work in progress. Temporary structures and unfinished facilities are evident, as the Ospreys prepare to welcome fans back to one of Welsh rugby's historic sites.
The return to St Helen's comes at a challenging time for the Ospreys, as the Welsh Rugby Union plans to reduce the number of professional men's teams in the region. The club's future remains uncertain, but the managing director emphasizes the importance of the stadium as a community facility and a symbol of rugby heritage.
