Ospreys Sign Former Wallabies Wing Marika Koroibete

Ospreys have announced the signing of Marika Koroibete, a former Wallabies wing, as their fourth Australian player for the 2026-27 season in the United Rugby Championship.

The 34-year-old Koroibete, who has 63 caps for Australia, joins the team after five seasons with Panasonic Wild Knights in Japan. He expressed excitement about joining Ospreys, highlighting the positive feedback he received about the team and its environment.

Koroibete, who debuted for Australia in 2017 and has scored 20 tries in Test matches, is eligible to represent Fiji in the upcoming tournament. His addition follows the signings of other Australian players, including Ryan Smith and Liam Wright, as Ospreys prepare for their friendly against Coventry on September 4 and their URC opener against Sharks on September 26.
