Packers Activate Josh Jacobs for 2026 Season
Josh Jacobs, the running back for the Packers, is preparing to make his first appearance in the 2026 season.
This week, Jacobs was removed from the Commissioner Exempt list and received a one-week roster exemption. The team confirmed his activation for the upcoming game against the Lions on Sunday. Head coach Matt LaFleur indicated that Jacobs is ready to return after missing the first six games of the season.
In Jacobs's absence, MarShawn Lloyd, Pierre Strong, and Kaleb Johnson have been managing the running back responsibilities for Green Bay. Additionally, the Packers activated defensive tackle Jordon Riley from the physically unable to perform list and signed wide receiver Coleman Owen from the practice squad to the active roster, while defensive end Arron Mosby was temporarily elevated from the practice squad.
