Packers Adjust Offensive Line Ahead of Panthers Game
The Green Bay Packers will face the Carolina Panthers with a revamped offensive line as they prepare for their Week 8 matchup. Travis Glover has been ruled out due to a knee injury, and center Sean Rhyan will also miss the game with a high-ankle sprain.
This situation opens the door for Kevin Zeitler to potentially start at right guard, a position he has not filled in the past four games. The Packers are considering various options for their offensive line, including moving Aaron Banks or Laken Tomlinson to the right side or utilizing Donovan Jennings or Mekhi Becton.
In addition to Glover and Rhyan, the Packers are evaluating whether to place Rhyan on injured reserve. The team has already placed backup center Jacob Monk on IR, leaving them with limited options. The projected starters include Jordan Morgan at left tackle and either John Williams or rookie Jager Burton at center. Meanwhile, wide receiver Matthew Golden is listed as questionable but showed improvement in practice, raising hopes for his participation.
