Packers and Lions Clash in Week 7 of NFL Season
In Week 7 of the 2026 NFL season, the Green Bay Packers will visit the Detroit Lions, both teams aiming for playoff spots in the NFC North. The Packers enter the game with momentum, having secured two consecutive victories, while the Lions are coming off a bye week.
Last season, the Packers won both encounters against the Lions, but Detroit had the upper hand in five of the six matchups from 2022 to 2024. The Packers are looking to improve their rushing game with Josh Jacobs returning from the Commissioner's Exempt List, as they currently rank last in the league in rushing yards. Meanwhile, the Lions' defense has struggled, allowing the most passing yards per game.
On the offensive side, the Lions boast one of the top offenses in the league, led by Jared Goff, who has helped the team rank fourth in yards per game and tied for first in points per game. The matchup is expected to be competitive, with both teams having potent offenses and defensive challenges.
