Packers' Centers Face Injury Concerns During Game
During a recent game, Packers running back Josh Jacobs' first carry resulted in center Sean Rhyan being taken off the field due to an ankle injury.
Rhyan was injured when Jacobs and Lions edge rusher Aidan Hutchinson rolled over his left ankle. Following Rhyan's exit, Jacob Monk, who had previously lost his starting right guard position, stepped in at center but soon left the game with a quadriceps injury. John Williams then took over at center, despite having no prior snaps in any game this season.
Despite the injuries, the Packers managed to drive 74 yards in 12 plays, tying the game at 7-7 with a touchdown pass from Jordan Love to Tucker Kraft. Love completed 10 of 14 passes for 122 yards and a touchdown, although the team missed an earlier opportunity to score when rookie Trey Smack missed a 26-yard field goal.
