Packers Consider Trade for Titans' Calvin Ridley Ahead of Deadline
The Green Bay Packers have emerged as a potential trade option for Calvin Ridley, a wide receiver for the Tennessee Titans, ahead of the NFL's trade deadline on November 10.
Analyst Bradley Locker identified Green Bay as one of three teams that could be interested in acquiring Ridley, alongside the New York Giants and Las Vegas Raiders. Ridley has struggled this season, recording only three catches for 48 yards in four games, a significant decline from his previous performance.
With the Titans currently at 0-4 and featuring a younger receiving corps, Ridley has become less essential. The Packers, sitting at 2-2, are looking to bolster their receiving options following Jayden Reed's season-ending injury. Ridley, who has a cap charge of $15.2 million this season, could serve as a veteran addition to complement existing players like Christian Watson and Matthew Golden.
