Javon Hargrave, a defensive lineman for the Green Bay Packers, has been confirmed to have torn his Achilles, which will end his season. The injury occurred during the team's recent victory over the Bears.

Reports indicate that Hargrave will undergo surgery and start his rehabilitation, aiming for a return in 2027. This marks the second Achilles tear for the Packers in a short span, following linebacker Edgerrin Cooper's similar injury in Week 4.

In the first five weeks of the season, Hargrave recorded six tackles, two quarterback hits, and one pass defensed. He signed a two-year contract with the Packers this offseason, ensuring his presence with the team through the 2027 season.
