Packers Face Injury Concerns Ahead of Week 5 Matchup Against Bears
Defensive tackle Javon Hargrave has been added to the injury report for the Green Bay Packers ahead of their Week 5 game against the Chicago Bears, now listed as questionable due to a toe injury.
The Packers have ruled out running back Chris Brooks, who has been sidelined with an ankle injury and did not practice all week. Alongside Hargrave, fellow defensive lineman Anthony Campbell is also questionable with an ankle issue. The team is facing depth challenges at the position, with Warren Brinson on injured reserve and Jordon Riley on the PUP list.
In addition to Brooks, wide receiver Savion Williams is out but remains on injured reserve. The Packers will have three active running backs for the game: MarShawn Lloyd, Kaleb Johnson, and Pierre Strong Jr., who was recently promoted. On the offensive line, Laken Tomlinson and Kevin Zeitler are expected to start, while Aaron Banks and Jacob Monk are doubtful to play. Meanwhile, Bears quarterback Caleb Williams has returned to practice from a hamstring injury, although he is also listed as questionable.
