Packers General Manager Confirms First-Round Grade for Cornerback Brandon Cisse

The Green Bay Packers' general manager, Brian Gutekunst, announced that cornerback Brandon Cisse, chosen 52nd overall from South Carolina, received a first-round grade from the team. This information highlights the Packers' assessment of Cisse as a significant addition, especially given their lack of a first-round pick in the 2026 NFL Draft.

Gutekunst explained that Cisse was among a select group of players rated as first-round caliber, which typically includes only 10 to 15 prospects each year. He noted that the team's ability to secure Cisse without trading up was advantageous, particularly after the franchise traded its original first-round pick to the Dallas Cowboys in the Micah Parsons deal.
