Packers' Javon Hargrave Likely Out for Season Due to Injury
Green Bay Packers defensive tackle Javon Hargrave is anticipated to be sidelined for the remainder of the season due to an Achilles tendon injury, as indicated by head coach Matt LaFleur after the team's 31-7 win over the Chicago Bears.
Hargrave suffered the injury while pursuing Bears quarterback Case Keenum in the fourth quarter, falling without any contact. He was carted off the field with 1:53 left in the game, having recorded one tackle and one quarterback hit prior to his exit.
The 33-year-old Hargrave joined the Packers as a free agent this offseason, marking his fifth team in 11 NFL seasons. Throughout his career, he has accumulated 438 tackles and 49 sacks across 150 regular-season games, earning Pro Bowl selections in 2021 and 2023.
