Packers Sign Tight Ends McCallan Castles and Drew Biber

The Green Bay Packers announced the signing of tight ends McCallan Castles and Drew Biber on Tuesday.

In related roster moves, the team waived tight end RJ Maryland and placed Luke Lachey on the injured list. Castles, who is entering his first year, previously spent time on the Packers' practice squad after signing a futures contract. He was initially signed as an undrafted free agent by the Eagles in 2024 and has also been with the Chargers and Rams.

Drew Biber, a rookie, played four seasons at Purdue and one at the University of Minnesota, participating in 50 games with 33 receptions for 271 yards and a touchdown. Last season, he achieved personal bests in games played, receptions, and receiving yards.
