Packers vs. Lions Game Highlights Kicking Struggles

The recent matchup between the Packers and the Lions showcased a series of dramatic plays and controversial coaching choices. Among the highlights was the return of Josh Jacobs and a near injury to Jahmyr Gibbs in the final moments.

Rookie kicker Trey Smack's performance stood out for the wrong reasons, as he missed a 26-yard field goal attempt and had a 35-yard attempt blocked late in the game, contributing to the Packers' struggles. With five missed field goals and two extra points this season, Smack's position appears precarious as the team sits at 4-3 in the NFC Central.

In another game, the 49ers faced their own kicking issues, with Eddy Pinerio missing an extra point, complicating their efforts against the Falcons. Despite signing Pinerio to an extension, the team may consider additional options during the break.
