Packers Waive Cornerback Domani Jackson After Preseason Struggles

Jackson, who had undergone core muscle surgery earlier in the offseason, struggled in his two preseason games, earning low grades from Pro Football Focus. He played 44 defensive snaps, primarily as an outside corner, but allowed a high passer rating when targeted in his final game against the Arizona Cardinals.

This decision is notable as the Packers usually retain their draft picks for at least a year. Alongside Jackson, the team also waived several other defensive backs as they finalize their 53-man roster ahead of the regular season.
