Pakistan marked their first overseas Test win in three years with an eight-wicket victory over West Indies in Port of Spain, Trinidad, drawing the series 1-1.

Chasing a target of 75 runs, Pakistan completed the match in just 24 overs on day four, with Abdullah Shafique and captain Babar Azam both scoring an unbeaten 24. The West Indies, who had won the first Test, resumed their second innings at 103-6 but were bowled out for 117, with spinners Sajid Khan and Ali Usman taking four wickets each.

This victory ended Pakistan's streak of eight consecutive away defeats, their last win being against Sri Lanka in July 2023. The team is set to face England in a three-match Test series starting on August 19.
