Panthers Narrow Gap Against Packers in Late Game
The Green Bay Packers held a 27-10 advantage over the Carolina Panthers midway through the third quarter, but the Panthers managed to close the gap to 27-19 with 5:37 remaining in the game.
Carolina's Ryan Fitzgerald successfully kicked a 50-yard field goal with 4:07 left in the third quarter. Shortly after, the Panthers scored a touchdown when Jalen Coker caught a 26-yard pass from Bryce Young on a crucial fourth-and-3 play, capping a 12-play, 70-yard drive that included two successful third-down conversions.
However, the Panthers' attempt to convert a two-point conversion was unsuccessful as Young's pass was deflected. Young completed 21 of 37 passes for 196 yards, including one touchdown and one interception.
