Panthers' Struggling Run Defense Draws Attention from Opponents

Head coach Dave Canales acknowledges that the Panthers' poor run defense will influence how opposing teams, like the Packers, prepare for their upcoming matchup.

The Carolina Panthers are facing challenges with the worst run defense in the NFL, a situation noted by head coach Dave Canales as he prepares for their upcoming game against the Green Bay Packers.

In their last game, the Panthers allowed 258 rushing yards to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, which Canales believes will encourage the Packers to exploit this weakness. He anticipates that the Packers will attempt to run the ball effectively while also taking deep shots with quarterback Jordan Love if the Panthers overcommit to stopping the run.

The Packers have struggled with their run game this season, having only had running back Josh Jacobs for one game. The matchup against the Panthers' defense may provide them with an opportunity to improve their performance on the ground.
