Panthers to Face Packers in Week 8 NFL Matchup

The Carolina Panthers are set to play against the Green Bay Packers on Thursday, October 29, 2026, at 8:15 p.m. ET at Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wisconsin, during Week 8 of the NFL season.

Currently, the Packers hold a record of 4-3, having recently ended a three-game winning streak with a narrow 20-17 loss to the Detroit Lions in Week 7. They have allowed an average of 20.7 points per game and have a turnover margin of plus-5, ranking fifth in the league. In contrast, the Panthers are at 3-3 after suffering a significant 43-13 defeat to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in their last game.

The Panthers' offense is notable for scoring 26.5 points per game and ranking second in the league for passing yards, while their defense struggles against the run, allowing 153.2 rushing yards per game. The matchup will test both teams' strengths, with the Packers leading the NFL in interceptions and the Panthers' pass defense being a strong point.
