Pape Matar Sarr Set for Loan Move to Juventus from Tottenham
Pape Matar Sarr, a midfielder for Tottenham Hotspur, is on his way to Italy to complete a season-long loan to Juventus, which could lead to a permanent transfer valued at £25.6 million, as reported by various outlets.
The Senegal international has not participated in any of Tottenham's matchday squads this season and last started a game on March 22. Sarr joined Spurs from Metz in August 2021 and was loaned back to the French club for the remainder of that season.
Despite being part of Senegal's squad that won the Africa Cup of Nations, Sarr made his Premier League debut only in January 2023. Following Tottenham's recent defeats, head coach Roberto De Zerbi confirmed that Sarr, along with other players, expressed a desire to leave the club.
