Pascal Wehrlein Expresses Concerns Over Team Orders in London E-Prix
Pascal Wehrlein has expressed uncertainty regarding the extent to which his rivals may employ team orders during the London E-Prix, which is part of the 2025-26 Formula E season finale.
The championship is highly competitive, with nine drivers still in contention for the title, and the top four separated by just 14 points. Wehrlein, along with his teammate Jake Dennis, represents Porsche in the title race, while Mitch Evans and Oliver Rowland are also serious contenders from Jaguar and Nissan, respectively.
Wehrlein noted his concerns stem from previous experiences, particularly a race in Tokyo where team tactics significantly influenced the outcome. He emphasized the difference between legitimate team support and tactics that manipulate race results. Wehrlein's teammate, Nico Mueller, is currently positioned eighth in the championship and may assist Wehrlein, but only within the limits of fair competition. Formula E is reportedly looking to restrict team orders in future seasons.
