Pascal Wehrlein Secures Second Formula E Title Despite London E-Prix Challenges

Pascal Wehrlein has been crowned the 2025-26 Formula E world champion, achieving this title despite not scoring points in the London E-Prix, where Taylor Barnard emerged victorious.

Wehrlein, driving for Porsche, secured his second championship, joining Jean-Eric Vergne as the only two-time champions in the series. He entered the final weekend in third place, five points behind Jake Dennis, but gained the lead after winning the first race on Saturday due to team orders.

During the season finale, Wehrlein faced significant challenges, including a drop to 11th place after a collision. However, he ultimately retained enough points to secure the championship, finishing 14th in the race. Barnard's win marked his first series victory, while Nyck De Vries and Edoardo Mortara completed the podium.
