Blue Jays pitcher Patrick Corbin is considered unlikely to return to the mound in 2026 due to a teres major strain, as stated by manager John Schneider. Corbin was placed on the 60-day injured list in August after initially being put on the 15-day IL on July 22, with hopes of a late-season return now diminished.

Corbin, who signed a one-year contract worth $1 million in April, has made 19 appearances this season, recording a 5.51 ERA over 80 innings.
