Patrick Mahomes Scores Touchdown in Return from ACL Injury

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes demonstrated his recovery from a torn ACL by scoring a touchdown on his opening drive during a game against the Denver Broncos.

Starting nine months after his injury, Mahomes scrambled for a 15-yard touchdown on a 2nd-and-goal play. After initially looking for a pass option, he found a lane and dove into the end zone, marking a successful return.

Despite showing some rust in his passing game, completing only 2 of 8 attempts for 14 yards in the first three drives, Mahomes' performance indicated that his knee was not a concern. The Chiefs' head coach, Andy Reid, limited Mahomes' workload early in the game, opting for several running plays.
