Patriots Add Cameron Latu and Darius Muasau to Roster
The New England Patriots have made roster changes after finalizing their initial lineup for the 2026 season on Sunday.
According to the NFL’s transaction report, the team has claimed tight end Cameron Latu and linebacker Darius Muasau. To accommodate these new players, linebacker K.J. Britt is expected to be released, as reported by Adam Schefter of ESPN.
Cameron Latu was selected by the San Francisco 49ers in the third round of the 2023 draft but spent his rookie season on injured reserve and was later released in 2024. He joined the Cleveland Browns' practice squad before moving to the Philadelphia Eagles, where he participated in 16 games last season, primarily on special teams. Darius Muasau, a sixth-round pick by the New York Giants in 2024, recorded 106 tackles, one sack, and one interception over 27 games with the team.
