Patriots Announce Five Players Out for Thursday's Game Against Bears
The New England Patriots have announced that five players will be unavailable for their Thursday night game against the Chicago Bears. This decision was confirmed by head coach Mike Vrabel during a press conference on Wednesday.
Among those ruled out are left guard Alijah Vera-Tucker, who is dealing with a hamstring injury, and right guard Ben Brown, who has a knee issue. In their absence, Matt Pryor and Walter Rouse are set to start alongside center Jared Wilson. Additionally, cornerback Carlton Davis, who returned to practice on Tuesday, will miss another game due to a neck injury.
Two other players, backup cornerbacks Karon Prunty and Channing Canada, are also sidelined with hamstring injuries as the team prepares for their trip to Chicago.
