Patriots Place Romeo Doubs on Injured Reserve
The New England Patriots have announced that receiver Romeo Doubs will be placed on injured reserve, which will keep him out for a minimum of four weeks.
Doubs sustained a shoulder injury during the team's recent victory against the Jets. In his first season with the Patriots, he has been a key player, leading the team with 261 receiving yards and sharing the lead with three receiving touchdowns.
In response to Doubs' injury, the Patriots have signed defensive back Elliott Davison to their 53-man roster from the practice squad. Additionally, they have added receiver Ryan Miller, offensive lineman Jacob Rizy, and guard Andrew Rupcich to the practice squad, while releasing cornerback D’Shawn Jamison.
