Patriots Release Offensive Lineman Ben Brown

The New England Patriots announced the release of offensive lineman Ben Brown on Monday. Brown, who is 28 years old, went undrafted from Mississippi in 2022 and initially joined the Cincinnati Bengals.

After spending one season with the Bengals, Brown was released before the 2023 season began. He then signed with the Seattle Seahawks, where he was elevated to the active roster but was waived in October. He returned to the practice squad shortly after, only to be released again a month later. Brown later joined the Arizona Cardinals' practice squad but was released weeks later. Following the 2023 season, he signed a futures contract with the Las Vegas Raiders but was cut during training camp in 2024.

Brown re-signed with the Raiders' practice squad before being signed by the Patriots in October. He was re-signed as an exclusive rights free agent for the 2025 season and received a two-year extension in December. In 2025, he played in 17 games for the Patriots, starting five at center.
