Patriots to Face Bears Without Key Offensive Players
The New England Patriots will be missing their two starting offensive guards and an additional starter for their game against the Chicago Bears on Thursday.
Coach Mike Vrabel confirmed that left guard Alijah Vera-Tucker, right guard Ben Brown, and cornerback Carlton Davis III will not play due to injuries. Matt Pryor and Walter Rouse are set to fill in for Vera-Tucker and Brown, with Rouse making his NFL starting debut.
Additionally, backup cornerbacks Karon Prunty and Channing Canada have also been ruled out. The Patriots have several players listed as questionable, including right tackle Morgan Moses and linebacker Christian Elliss. For the Bears, running back Kyle Monangai and linebacker Jack Sanborn are also sidelined due to injuries.
