Patriots Trade Kayshon Boutte to Texans for Jaylen Reed and Draft Pick

The New England Patriots have traded wide receiver Kayshon Boutte to the Houston Texans, acquiring safety Jaylen Reed and a seventh-round draft pick in return. This move comes shortly after concerns were raised about the Patriots' roster depth.

Boutte, who was drafted by the Patriots in the sixth round of the 2023 draft, had a mixed career with the team, recording 43 receptions and 589 yards in 2024, along with six touchdowns in 2025.
